    • Description

A brilliant yellow colour. Elegant, assertive nose of white flowers and citrus fruit. On the palate, a structured wine, well balanced between minerality and acidity, with almond flavours. A fine and well balanced wine.
Can be aged for 10 to 15 years. The minerality and aromas of this wine will develop over the years while retain liveliness and vitality.

Lying to the west of the Chablis Grand Cru appellation, Bougros’ 15 hectares are sheltered from the wind. They extend over a large southwest-facing terrace at the top and over a steeper south-facing slope towards the bottom. This hillside positioning is particularly in its favour, as its hours soaking in the sun are intense. Although the soils are naturally draining, the unique layout of this Climat becomes obvious from a geological point of view: on the hillside, the soil is quite poor, whereas on the terrace, in the upper part, it becomes deeper, with increasing clay and marls.

      Aroma:

      Apple, Lemon, Nectarine

      Palate:

      Apple, Creamy, Peach

      Food Pairings:
      Cheese Cheese
      Poultry Poultry

    Robert Goulley

Since its founding in 1950 by Robert Goulley, the Chablis and Burgundy winery has been a beacon of tradition and excellence. Born out of Robert's deep-rooted passion for nature and photography, the family vineyard flourished under his stewardship, transforming into a renowned estate nestled in the charming village of La Chapelle Vaupelteigne. Guided by Robert's unwavering commitment to quality, the winery has become synonymous with the art of crafting wines that reflect the unique terroir of the region.

Today, Robert's legacy lives on through his grandson, Frederic Goulley, who leads the third generation of winemakers with a profound reverence for the land and a dedication to sustainable practices. Under Frederic's direction, the estate is embarking on the journey towards organic certification, further solidifying its commitment to environmental stewardship. With each bottle, Robert Goulley wines embody the essence of generations past, offering a sensory journey that captures the timeless charm and exceptional quality for which the estate is renowned.

As custodians of a rich heritage, the Goulley family remains steadfast in their mission to preserve the traditions and values instilled by Robert Goulley himself.
