Stoli Elit is distilled from winter wheat and rye into a high-grade Alpha Spirit at the Latvijas Balzams distillery in Riga, Latvia, then subjected to Elit's patented freeze filtration process — filtering the vodka at -18°C. At sub-zero temperatures, residual impurities that conventional charcoal or carbon filtration methods cannot remove precipitate out and are separated from the spirit, producing a vodka of exceptional clarity, smoothness, and a distinctive velvety texture on the palate. Water is added in three separate stages during the finishing process, with two-week resting periods between each addition to allow full integration. Bottled at 40% ABV.

The Elit range was created to represent the peak of what the SPI Group could achieve through grain selection, distillation, and advanced filtration. The spirit uses a single source of grain from the SPI Group's own Raduga farming operation in Tambov, Russia, where land is described as farmed without synthetic fertilisers or pesticides.
