TarraWarra MDB Pinot Noir 2012
Tasting Notes
TarraWarra MDB Pinot Noir 2012 is a distinguished cool-climate Australian Pinot Noir from TarraWarra Estate in Victoria’s renowned Yarra Valley. Elegant and age-worthy, it reflects the region’s reputation for producing refined wines with exceptional balance and longevity.
The estate’s story began when Marc and Eva Besen purchased the property in 1979. Encouraged by legendary Yarra Valley winemaker Dr John Middleton, they planted the first six hectares of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir in 1983, establishing the foundation for TarraWarra’s celebrated winemaking heritage.
Recognised with an impressive 93-point score from Huon Hooke, this mature 2012 Pinot Noir offers provenance, pedigree and enduring appeal. Sourced from a premium private cellar, it is a compelling example of sophisticated Yarra Valley Pinot Noir and a distinctive addition to any fine wine collection.
