      The Dalmore 15 Year Old
Mature Decadence with a Sherried Heart

If the Dalmore 12 is the signature, the 15 is the deepening of the script. This isn't just an older whisky - it's a more seasoned one, offering a broader canvas of cask influence and time. Still bottled at 40%, the 15 doesn't trade in brute strength. Instead, it moves with grace, layering, and deliberate poise.

The maturation journey begins in American white oak ex-bourbon casks, then graduates to a trio of sherry butts: Matusalem, Apostoles, and Amoroso, all from the González Byass bodega in Jerez. The influence of each cask is distinct, but never dominant - each plays a part in building a whisky of depth without drama.

The nose is plush and composed: medjool dates, orange marmalade, and roasted hazelnuts rise first, followed by baking spice, cedar, and a subtle undercurrent of polished leather. There's a textural richness even before the first sip.

On the palate, the structure is clear and confident: toffee apple, fig compote, and cinnamon-spiced sultana cake. Hints of almond, coffee crumb, and a thread of blood orange weave in mid-palate. The mouthfeel is soft yet firm - a whisky that holds its shape. The casks bring seasoning, not sweetness.

The finish is long and stately: chocolate-dipped cherry, seasoned oak, and a final flicker of treacle and ginger. It lingers not with weight, but with presence.

Depth Without Force, Elegance Without Effort
What defines the 15 is not just its age, but how it wears it. It's the Dalmore style, broadened and refined - not more intense than the 12, but more dimensional. Every element feels integrated, every note deliberate. For those who enjoy richness with restraint, this is a whisky of quiet confidence.

In contrast to the more direct clarity of the 12, the 15 is contemplative - less an entry point, more a sitting room. It doesn't demand attention; it earns it.

      Final Thought
The Dalmore 15 wears its maturity with ease. It's for drinkers who appreciate subtlety over spectacle, and finish over flash. A whisky that feels less like a statement and more like a story - seasoned, structured, and beautifully told.

It's not just a sherried Highland malt.
It's a tailored composition - aged in character, dressed in nuance.
