Shiraz is an unsung hero of Margaret River. A truly delicious wine - layers of dark fruits and licorice on the nose are complimented by mocha and savoury and earthy characters from oak maturation. A rich and intense fruit palate is balanced with a soft tannin structure, oak spice and cracked pepper. Flavours of cherry and plums with hints of clove, dark chocolate, mocha, and savoury finish
The majority of Shiraz for this wine was sourced from a low yielding vineyard in the Wilyabrup sub-region of Margaret River, in the locality of Miamup, with 5% from the vineyard, next to Cape Mentelle winery, in Wallciffe Road.
