A Double Cask release of Macallan’s highest art, where American oak whispers soft vanilla and European oak sings in Sherried richness. It’s not loud, but it commands the room like a noble monarch returned from exile.
In the glass, it gleams like antique gold. The nose is refined and regal: butterscotch wrapped in orange oil, golden raisins dusted in nutmeg, polished oak panels, and dried rose petals. There’s a maturity to the aroma — not just age, but wisdom. Soft baking spice, toffee brittle, and dried fig emerge slowly, with each swirl more nuanced than the last.
