Thompson Bros Highland 18 Year Old is an 18-year-old single malt Scotch whisky from an Orkney Islands distillery, matured in top refill casks and selected and bottled by Thompson Bros at natural strength. The extended maturation in refill casks allows the spirit's own character to dominate rather than cask wood influence — producing a profile described as charred hazelnut, dusty malt, heather honey, sharp citrus, and a subtle maritime quality of brine and tar that reflects the Orcadian coastal distilling environment. Bottled at 48.5% ABV without chill-filtration, in a 700mL format as a limited independent release.

Thompson Bros is the whisky brand founded by brothers Simon and Philip Thompson, who established the Dornoch Distillery Company in the Highlands of Scotland in 2013 — initially as an independent bottler before converting a 19th-century fire station in Dornoch, Sutherland, into an operational distillery in December 2016. The Thompson Brothers release both their own new-make spirit from Dornoch and carefully selected independent bottlings from other Scottish distilleries.
