    • Description

Native family white grape of Molise Abruzzi dry grown here in the Barossa Valley from a single vineyard dating back to 1903

Handpicked and crushed in 500kg fermenters for 8 days, then basket-pressed to seasoned French oak for 8 months, creating texture and complexity. An energetic, complex dry style with lifted stone fruits, citrus, and grapefruit. Zesty lemon, nuts, and persistent stone fruit flavors lead to a savory saline finish. Perfect with shellfish and white meats or enjoyed on its own. Barossa's mild vintage allows flavors to slowly build with excellent acid retention, showcasing old vine Trebbiano's character.

Traditional family farming with composts, native grasses, and natural sprays on clay loam over ironstone shale soil. Yield: 3 kg per vine, 120-year-old vines, 280m altitude.
