    Wooing Tree Vineyard

Wooing Tree Vineyard is as well known for a certain tree in the middle of its vineyard as it is for its exceptional Central Otago Pinot Noir. Family owned and operated, Wooing Tree Vineyard gets its name from the tree that locals fought to keep when the Farquharson and Bews families first purchased the site back in 2002. The so-called wooing tree was the site of many amorous encounters for the good folk of Cromwell in Central Otago and in the spirit of keeping the woo alive, it was decreed the tree would stay.

This single vineyard site is one of the biggest Pinot Noir producers in the region, consistently delivering premium wines including Chardonnay, Rose, Pinot Gris and, of course, Pinot Noir.
