Crafted by Walsh Whiskey in County Carlow, this expression is triple distilled from 100% malted barley, with no grain spirit, chill filtration or caramel colouring - just sherry cask and spirit in harmony.The nose is bright and expressive: red berries, orange zest, dried fig and almond nougat mingle with hints of clove and polished wood. On the palate, it opens with stewed orchard fruit and dark chocolate, followed by warming spice, roasted walnut and a thread of sultana sweetness. The influence of Oloroso adds both richness and lift without overshadowing the malt character.
