Selection 23 Breeze starts as a full-strength wine, with carefully chosen parcels for intense aroma and flavour. The alcohol is then gently reduced to 8.0-9.5% without heat or harsh methods, preserving the wine’s vibrant character.

Introducing Selection 23 Breeze. A lighter take on the popular Selection 23 range, Breeze is crafted for those seeking a lower-alcohol option. Offering the full flavour and aroma of a traditional wine, it provides a more moderate choice with reduced alcohol and calories*. Designed for those who enjoy a delicious glass of wine with a lighter touch, it delivers balance and refreshment without compromising on taste.

      Winemaker Notes
Premium parcels of Pinot Noir grapes underwent selection, crushing, cold-soaking, and fermentation in stainless steel fermenters with sweep arms over 5 to 7 days. Afterward, the wine passed through a membrane press, aged on French oak for 3 to 4 months, and was ultimately blended and bottled.

    Zilzie

The Forbes family landed in the Murray Darling region of Australia nearly 100 years ago. After four generations of farming, Ian and Ros Forbes, along with sons Steven and Andrew converted the fields to vineyards in the early 1980. The winery was built in 1999 and the first Zilzie vintage produced in 2000.With a wide range of labels and varieties, Zilzie offers quality wines for any occasion. Searching far afield in regions such as Coonawarra and the Yarra Valley the family sources high quality grapes for their "Regional Collection". With winemaker Hayden Donohue heading the winemaking team, the range regularly receives acclaim as a 'Best Buy' and 'Top Value' and is a staple in Australian households. But as Ros Forbes puts it: It's not just a farm, it's a home. The boys had mud fights and rode BMX bikes in the same soil they now grow Shiraz and Chardonnay in."
