United Cellars Named Finalist in the 2026 Australian Service Excellence Awards

We're proud to share that United Cellars has been named a finalist in the 2026 Australian Service Excellence Awards (ASEA), in the category of Organisation of the Year (Small Business).

It's a genuine thrill to see the work we do every day recognised on a national stage. This nomination isn't the result of one big moment. It's the sum of thousands of small ones: a customer service call handled with patience, a wine recommendation that hit the mark, a hard problem solved by someone who cared enough to see it through. That's what this award is really about, and it's what we've tried to build here.

About the Australian Service Excellence Awards

Run by the Customer Service Institute of Australia (CSIA), the ASEA is Australia's premier awards program for customer service, dedication and service innovation across industries. Making the finalist list means we're being measured against some of the best service-driven businesses in the country, which is exactly the company we want to keep.

Why This One Matters

We've been fortunate to pick up a few nods over the years, but this one hits differently. It's not about how much wine we sell or how fast we're growing. It's about how our customers feel when they deal with us, and whether we're actually living up to the standard we set for ourselves.

That standard shows up in the details: an account manager who remembers exactly what you like before you've told them twice, a rare vintage tracked down and delivered without a hitch, a cellar order that just works. None of that happens by accident. It's the result of a team that treats service as the product, not an afterthought.

A few things this nomination says about where we're at as a business:

  • Personalised advice, not guesswork. Our account managers build real relationships with clients so recommendations actually fit their palate, not a generic sales script.

  • Service that keeps getting sharper. We're always refining how we source, manage and deliver fine wine, so getting your hands on it feels effortless.

  • A team that puts people first. Every process we run is built around one question: does this make the client's experience better.

What's Next

This finalist spot moves us into the next stage of judging, where the CSIA will take a closer look at our service frameworks and track record. For now, we're celebrating this one with the whole United Cellars team, and with the customers and partners who've backed us to get here.

Thank you to everyone who has been part of this journey. Whatever happens at the awards ceremony, being named a finalist is a reminder that the effort we put in doesn't go unnoticed, and that's worth celebrating on its own.
