The wine smells of lemon pith and nashi pear with a lick of carbide.

The palate is lively with a briny spine, great clarity and stacks of flavour.

Our seventh release of Rocket’s Vineyard Chenin Blanc! We dedicate our single vineyard Swan Valley wines to Rob’s late father and former Australian Test Cricketer Tony “Rocket” Mann. With a lightening arm, Tony was well known to “rocket” the ball in from the outfield to hit middle stump. Aside from cricket, Tony loved wine. An old currant vineyard caught his eye, which he quickly transformed into a Chenin Blanc oasis, with Rob, 30 years ago.
Our organically farmed grapes were harvested by hand and whole bunch pressed. The juice was fermented with indigenous yeasts in a stainless-steel tank and seasoned French oak
barriques. The wine was then left on its yeast lees through winter and then bottled just in time for spring. The Swan Valley is known for its heat as one of Australia's hottest wine regions. Yes it was very hot in 2024 but this wine is hot to trot! Fresh citrus pith, christmas cracker funk and a distinct briny finish, this will partner those prawns on the barbie and crayfish sandwiches beautifully. - Rob & Gen Mann.

The Mann family is one of the founding families of the Western Australia winemaking industry, having grown grapes in the area for more than 100 years. Now, husband-and-wife team Robert and Genevieve Mann have taken generations of handed-down winemaking knowledge and are turning heads with their Corymbia brand in the Upper Swan Valley. Their organically farmed, single-vineyard wines are honest expressions of the sites from which they source their fruit. The Manns take a holistic approach to their vineyard, considering the geology, history, husbandry, vine material, climate, and even conversations. The winery’s offerings include Cabernet Sauvignon, Chenin Blanc, and a Tempranillo Malbec blend.
