The Domaine George Roumier has a rich and fascinating terroir cultivated with a passion and philosophy by Christophe Roumier. George Roumier gave his first nobility to the domain in the 1950s, however, since 1981, Christophe has run the estate in pure tradition of his grandfather and his father. Musigny, Bonnes Mares, Chambolle Musigny "Les Amoureuses", Charmes Chambertin, Ruchottes Chambertin, Corton Charlemagne, these are the appellations attached to a family of winegrowers with a unique history.
The result is wines of complexity; combining lightness and intensity, grace and length in the mouth. But for Christophe Roumier, "There is no Roumier style but rather a Roumier philosophy: its vinification is there to reveal each terroir, each appellation!"
